Your data stays yours. We only see the blueprint.
Panorama works exclusively with metadata: the structure of your TM1 environment. Your business data, cell values, and credentials never leave your server.
Only metadata. Nothing else.
When you take a snapshot of your TM1, the file contains structural information only:
What's included
- Cube names and their dimension assignments
- Dimension names and hierarchy structures
- Process names, parameters, and code (Prolog, Metadata, Data, Epilog)
- Rule definitions
- Object relationships and dependencies
What's never included
- Cell values or business data
- User credentials or passwords
- Server connection strings
- CAM/security configurations
- Personal or financial information
The snapshot is an encoded picture of your architecture. Think of it as a map of the building, not the contents of the rooms.
From snapshot to visualization: every step secured.
Snapshot
You generate the metadata file yourself, directly from your TM1 server. You control what goes into it. Nothing is pulled automatically.
Upload
The file is uploaded over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+) to Panorama's cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit.
Processing
Panorama parses the metadata, computes relationships and dependencies, and builds your interactive documentation. Processing happens in isolated, single-tenant environments.
Storage
Your parsed metadata is stored encrypted at rest (AES-256). Each customer's data is logically isolated.
Deletion
You can delete your data from Panorama at any time. When you do, it's gone: no backups retained beyond the standard deletion window.
Clear boundaries. No exceptions.
Never connects to your TM1 server: Panorama has zero network access to your infrastructure
Never accesses business data: no cell values, no transactional data, no reports
Never stores credentials: no passwords, no API keys, no SSO tokens
Never shares data between customers: strict tenant isolation
Never uses your data for training or analytics: your metadata is yours alone
Enterprise-grade cloud hosting.
